HOW TO PLAY:Choose Your Heroes: At the start of the game, you’ll select heroes from a pool that’s available to you. Each hero belongs to different factions and classes, and they come with unique abilities. Some heroes may specialize in dealing damage, while others may provide healing or crowd control. The key to success is selecting heroes that work well together by creating synergies between their abilities. Manage Your Economy: Dota Underlords has an economy system where you earn gold after each round. You can use this gold to purchase heroes from a shop, upgrade your level, or reroll for better units. Managing your gold is critical: if you spend too much early on, you may not have enough to purchase stronger heroes later. You can also earn interest on your gold, making it crucial to balance your spending. Place Your Heroes on the Board: Once you’ve purchased your heroes, place them on a grid-style battlefield. Positioning is vital, as heroes will automatically attack and use their abilities based on their placement. Frontline heroes (such as tanks) should be placed at the front to absorb damage, while ranged or spellcasting heroes are better positioned in the back. Placement can significantly impact how your heroes perform in battle. Battle Automatically: Once you’ve placed your heroes on the battlefield, combat occurs automatically. Your heroes will attack enemies, use their abilities, and move across the battlefield. Your job is to position them strategically and make decisions on when to upgrade or reroll your units. Winning a battle rewards you with gold, experience points, and the chance to upgrade your heroes. Upgrade Heroes and Level Up: As you win battles, you will gain experience and gold. You can use experience points to level up, allowing you to deploy more heroes on the battlefield. Additionally, you can upgrade your heroes by purchasing additional copies of the same hero. Once you collect enough copies, your hero will upgrade to a higher level, becoming more powerful and unlocking new abilities. Synergy and Combinations: One of the key strategies in Dota Underlords is creating synergies between your heroes. Each faction and class has specific bonuses that activate when you have enough heroes from that faction or class on your team. For example, having multiple warriors on your team might increase your team's tankiness, while having several assassins could boost their damage output. Understanding these synergies is essential to building a competitive team. Participate in PvP Matches: Dota Underlords features PvP (Player vs. Player) matches, where you battle against other players’ teams. These matches are turn-based and follow a set structure: each player gets a chance to place heroes, upgrade their team, and fight. Winning matches earns you gold, progression points, and a chance to unlock better heroes. If you lose, you take damage to your health pool, and if your health reaches zero, you’re eliminated from the match. Defeat Bosses and Other Players: In addition to facing other players, you’ll encounter AI-controlled bosses during some rounds. These bosses often have more powerful units or special mechanics that require a strategic approach. Beating them rewards you with valuable items, gold, and experience points, giving you an advantage in future rounds. Adapt Your Strategy: As the game progresses, you’ll face tougher opponents with more powerful teams. Adapt your strategy by adjusting your hero choices, upgrading them at the right times, and positioning them effectively. Dota Underlords is all about strategic thinking and reacting to the situation. Your ability to adapt is crucial for overcoming stronger enemies and surviving longer. Compete in Leagues and Events: Dota Underlords features competitive events and leagues where you can test your skills against other players and climb the rankings. These events often offer exclusive rewards, leaderboards, and a chance to prove yourself as one of the top players in the game. Winning ranked matches and special events gives you access to unique rewards, such as skins, new heroes, or in-game currency.
