In this solo or co-op game, you play as a hero exploring dangerous dungeons filled with monsters, traps, and treasures. The goal is to defeat the dungeon’s boss by battling through different rooms, leveling up your character, and strategically using your limited resources. The game is fast to learn, yet it presents tough decisions at every turn. Players must balance risk and reward, deciding when to fight monsters, avoid traps, or level up their hero. With multiple heroes to choose from, each with unique abilities and playstyles, One Deck Dungeon offers great replayability, and the tension-filled dungeon-crawling experience never gets old.
HOW TO PLAY:Choose Your Hero:
Start by selecting a hero from the available choices, each with their own strengths and abilities. Heroes have different stats (Strength, Dexterity, Magic, and Health) that will help you survive the dungeon's dangers.
Enter the Dungeon:
Draw cards from the dungeon deck to reveal rooms that you’ll need to face. These rooms can be filled with monsters, traps, or treasure, and each type requires different strategies to overcome.
Fight Monsters & Avoid Traps:
If you encounter monsters or traps, you'll need to use your hero’s abilities and dice rolls to overcome them. Spend energy and roll your dice to match symbols on the cards. Success means defeating enemies or avoiding traps, but failure can lead to damage or loss of energy.
Level Up:
After each successful battle or task, gain experience to level up your hero. Choose new abilities or enhance existing ones to make your hero more powerful as you progress through the dungeon.
Manage Your Resources:
Resources like health, energy, and dice are limited, so use them wisely. You’ll need to balance risk (fighting tough enemies) with reward (gaining experience and loot). Be strategic with your actions, as your health and energy are precious.
Defeat the Boss:
After battling through a series of rooms, you’ll face the dungeon’s boss. Prepare your hero and resources to take down this powerful foe. Winning the boss fight is the key to victory!
Solo or Co-op Mode:
One Deck Dungeon can be played solo or cooperatively with a friend. In co-op mode, both players share the same dungeon, and you’ll need to coordinate your actions to defeat monsters and progress together.
